If I buy the materials only, can Birger Juell give me installation instructions for my floor?
We provide complete installation instructions when you purchase the flooring. We do not provide installation instructions for flooring products purchased elsewhere.
|
What type of grout should I use?
Juell grout is made from the sawdust particles obtained when sanding the Cobbleblock, mixed with a binder which we sell along with instructions with the purchase of the Cobblewood flooring. With Juell grout, the spacing cannnot be more than 1/4". For patterns with wider spacing, tile grout is required and may be purchased at any tile store.

How much does Cobbleblock flooring cost?
Pricing for Juell Cobbleblock is $40.00 per square foot, except for the Heritage pattern, which is $30.00. Installation cost of the Cobbleblock depends on pattern selection, the condition of the subfloor, the configuration of the area, etc. Prices for installation will be given upon receipt of a floor plan. We have developed a formula to give you an approximate estimate of how much our Cobbleblock floor materials will cost. We will provide you with an exact quote following a personal consultation. Estimating Cobbleblock CostsMaterials Cost To determine the cost of the Cobbleblock flooring, first determine the square footage (length x width) of the area, and add 5% to 10% for waste, depending on the layout. Multiply the total number of square feet times the cost per square foot of Cobbleblock material. Grout Cost One gallon of grout covers approximately 40 to 50 square feet of flooring, depending on the spacing of the bricks. To determine the number of gallons of grout to order, divide the total number of square feet by 45. This is the approximate number of gallons of grout you will need. Our patented grout costs $60.00 per gallon. Other Pricing Information
